#LOSPAZIOVUOTO is an initiative open to all artists who want to express through a personal creation the dimension of living that the current situation (the isolation to stem the Covid19) made us discover (or rediscover): the dimension of the void. A void of space and time that slows down the flow of hours, actions and thoughts, that transfigures towns and cities, that offers us new and unusual opportunities.
The genre of belonging of the requested works is that of painting, graphics (from freehand drawing to digital illustrations), photography. Interested parties can send an image of the work (.jpg or .tif) together with a brief presentation of the same (file in .doc), which specifies the material, technique, measures, and briefly explains the genesis. Also attached: copy of an ID, CV and portfolio.
The material must be sent with we transfer in a folder (max 10mb) named with surname_name to the email address of the gallery: info@iltriangoloartgallery.com indicating in the object #lospaziovuoto.
The deadline for submission is 15 May.
The selected works will be presented in June on the Gallery’s social channels and will create at the same time a virtual exhibition on the gallery’s website and on the Artland platform (presented in the press and promoted on social media).
Applications which do not contain one of the required documents shall be rejected. The selection will be curated by Leonardo Caldonazzo, owner of the Gallery, Raffaella Colace, art historian and director of the Gallery, Sara Fontana, historian and art critic, Ettore Favini, artist.
