La Placette, a contemporary art space set up in a shop window, was originally located on Rue du Terreaux. It later moved to 19 Rue Pré-du-Marché in Lausanne. Since December 2004, La Placette has provided a monthly platform for an artist to exhibit their work. This venue, which has showcased the work of over 200 established and emerging artists from the Romandy scene since its opening in 2004, is now divided into two distinct spaces: a shop window visible at all times from the street and an interior space.
