Olivier Russo obtained the BA in Painting (Visual Arta) at the Giacomo Carrara Academy of Fine Arts in Bergamo and the MA in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies at NABA (Milan), after winning the maximum merit scholarship per project. His artistic research is connects to a badly remembered story of a parallel world formed by a cosmos of vintage soundtracks, psychedelia, (a) ghostly pop, supernatural stories and childhood memories, this in multiple variations that create micro universes born from an intimate common interference. A freestyle that connects visual art, sound art, editorial practices, performance (also through the project _”A-J!”radio.) and theoretical researches around the cosmos of Soviet radios [Number Stations], Lo-Fi/Punk/D.I.Y. cultures and “hauntological” feeling (hauntology/nostalgia + post-Marxist social criticism)… a disorder that holistically connects all experiences.
