Alex Thake (b. 1991, Frankfurt, DE) is an artist based between Frankfurt and Los Angeles. Her work considers the psychic and physical infrastructures of contemporary life, drawing on languages of speculation, class and self-governance. With provisional materials, in staged environments and across mediums, she investigates the fantasies by which people orient themselves in the world, and the material conditions they produce.
